​Welcome! At Riverchase Baptist Church, ​We consider it a privilege to partner with you in the care and spiritual nurture of your precious children.  Our prayer is to offer a safe, inviting environment where you can trust that our staff and volunteers will nurture, protect, teach and love your child. All our staff workers and volunteers have a great heart for children.
Upon Arrival:
  • For your child’s safety, all children are checked-in using a matching tag procedure to ensure proper identification upon picking up your child.
  • Sunday School begins each Sunday at 9:30am and the Worship Hour at 10:30 am.
  • You are free to go from Sunday School into the Worship Service. Your child will continue to receive loving care and learning activities in the same room during Extended Time Care.
  • Wednesday evenings Childcare opens at 5:45 and 15 minutes before other scheduled events.​
  • You are welcome to leave your cell phone number with a teacher to allow us to contact you should something need your attention.
Nursery-Babies and Crawlers: We want your family to have a very positive experience as you entrust your precious little ones to us. We strive to keep our Nursery a healthy, clean,safe, and loving environment, a place where you feel comfortable leaving your child. Nursery rooms are staffed and designed to provide personal tender love and care to each child as they begin to discover the love of Jesus.

Toddlers and 2s: You will find children busy playing with blocks, puzzles, musical instruments, trucks, dolls, a kitchen center, a tool center–how can this be Sunday School? Listen carefully and you will hear our teachers and leaders having conversations with your child about the simple Bible story of the day. Yes, the story is told with visuals, songs, and crafts but the lesson is woven into many aspects of the morning including play! Parents,you can use the take-home piece to reinforce the lesson with your child at home.

Safety Procedures:​
  • We conduct personal background checks on any adult who serves in our children’s ministry.
  • The main downstairs entrance into the Children’s Ministry hall is locked promptly at 10:30 am each Sunday. If you arrive after the door is locked we simply ask you to enter through the upstairs front entrance.​
  • All children are checked-in using a matching tag procedure to ensure proper identification upon picking up your child.
