GAs is a missions discipleship organization for girls in grades 1 through 5. Girls learn about, pray for, give to, and do missions work. Girls also:
Make new friends & have lots of fun!
Learn what it means to live a missional lifestyle in Bible study and missions projects, and “travel” to various places around the world, learning about the work of missionaries.
The GA motto is “Go Forward!”
GAs do just that—they grow closer to God as they discover their part in His plan and practice what they’re learning through hands-on missions opportunities.
Their experiences lead to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His missions and His church.
First Meeting:
Wednesday Night 8/15 @ 6pm Room #133
Led by Teresa Boody.
All girls in grades 1 through 5 are welcome!
GAs Christmas in August! The GAs kick off their new year with a very special project called Christmas in August and they want you to join them!
This month the girls will be collecting items useful to a North American missionary to help them replenish ministry supplies, purchase items for ministry centers, and minister to people in their communities.
This year we will be supporting Raju Subedi in Beaverton, OR. Raju (former refugee) works among refugees coming from Bhutanese refugee camps in Nepal. The below items will be used as a ministry opportunity among the refugee children to get them excited to be in the ministry and to share the gospel with them.
You may drop off your donations in the designated box in the foyer through Sunday, September 2. Please do not wrap the items. - baby diapers - clothes* - shampoo - shoes* - stuffed animals* - blankets/comforters* - jackets* - pens - Walmart gift cards or Visa Gift cards (you may place these in a pew envelope and designate “Christmas in August” or give directly to Jane Roach or Teresa Boody) (*new items only please)
