Coming this Month...

This month’s memory verse “Show proper respect to everyone.” (1 Peter 2:17a, NIV) Proper respect acknowledges what is appropriate given the situation and position of the person. The person in authority over us was made by, is loved, and was placed in authority by God. We show them respect with our speech, actions, and attitude.

At Riverchase Baptist Church, we are committed to helping each and every child grow in Christ. We have a children's ministry team that is solely dedicated to making sure that in everything we do our children will glorify God. It is our goal to not only nurture and teach them, but to transform them as they mature with their own relationship with God.

Before our children become a part of our youth group, it is our goal that we provide them with:

* an understanding of the Bible

* positive and encouraging role models

* an understanding and explanation that God has called them to love and care for every person

* strong Christian friendships

* an outlet to have the opportunity to develop their talents for Christ

All members are encouraged to participate in the development and ministry to our children. Opportunities are available, in all of our planning, for active support of these programs. We encourage you to be involved and to help us transform our children as God has called and expected us to do.

Our children have many opportunities to learn about God:

Sunday Mornings

9:30-10:30 am

Sunday School for Age 2 - Grade 5 (1st & 2nd Floors)

Childcare for Babies - Toddlers in our Nursery (1st Floor)

10:30 - 11:30 am

Nursery and Childcare for Babies - Pre-K

Worship and Chase Place for Kindergarten - Grade 3

Chase Place is our worship care time for children in Kindergarten - 3rd grade. Parents are encouraged to bring children to the worship service for a brief time. After the Children's Moment, children will be escorted to

Chase Place. Chase Place is our children's church ministry. We encourage our 4th and 5th grade children to remain in worship for the entire service.

Wednesday Nights

Join us each Wednesday night from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm for our RA's and GA's Program.

Children from 1st Grade - 5 Grade can participate.

Royal Ambassadors (RA's) exists to involve boys and their leaders in the spiritual process of developing an "on-mission" lifestyle. Royal Ambassadors utilizes activities that are designed to help children learn about missions and get them personally involved in practical missions experiences.

Girls in Action (GA's) is an organization that helps girls learn a biblical worldview with an emphasis on missions learning and missional living.
